End-to-End (Visualization)

The End-to-End visualization provides a comprehensive flow diagram showing complete integration processes that span multiple systems and integration components. Use this view to understand end-to-end integration flows from both sender and receiver perspectives across your entire integration landscape.

Workflow Integration: The End-to-End visualization connects complete integration process analysis with system dependency understanding, enabling visual exploration of multi-step integration patterns and end-to-end data flows across your enterprise architecture.

Accessing the Visualization

Navigate to LandscapeVisualizationEnd-to-End to access the interactive end-to-end integration flow visualization.

System Selection: Choose from available systems in your landscape for end-to-end flow analysis

  • Clicking a system name loads the complete integration flows associated with that system

  • Available systems include all harmonized systems from your integration landscape

  • Real-time filtering shows systems based on your end-to-end integration data

The system list shows examples like ABAP_GateWay, ALM and Salesforce, representing the diverse system types in your integration environment.

Understanding the Flow Diagram

The End-to-End visualization displays complete integration flows that span multiple systems, showing the full journey of data processing from initial sender through intermediate processing steps to final receiver systems.

As Sender shows complete integration flows from the sending system perspective:

  • End-to-end processes that originate from specific systems

  • Visual representation of how data flows through multiple integration components

  • Helps identify systems that initiate complex multi-step integration processes

image-20250821-102300.png

As Receiver shows complete integration flows from the receiving system perspective:

  • End-to-end processes that terminate at specific systems

  • Visual representation of how data arrives through multiple integration steps

  • Helps identify systems that consume data from complex integration pipelines

Integration Architecture Analysis:

Use both As Sender and As Receiver views to understand different aspects of your integration architecture. The sender perspective shows how systems initiate complex flows, while the receiver perspective shows how systems consume data from multi-step integration processes.

Multi-Step Process Identification: The visualization shows Salesforce initiating complex integration flows that span multiple containers:

  • "IMS Trigger Messages | IMS PurchaseOrder SAP_ECC Supplier | IMS SalesOrder Magento SAP_S4HANA" container

  • "SFSC via EM to SAP CRM" container with customer synchronization components

  • Multiple SAP_IS_CI processing elements coordinating the data flow

Cross-Platform Orchestration:

The flow containers show intermediate processing through SAP_IS_CI components:

  • CustomerChange API from SFSC processing

  • sap-crm-customer transformation

  • Customer SAP CRM from SFSC delivery

  • MULE_APP and SAP_EVENTMESH coordination

Architecture Pattern Recognition: The visualization reveals an enterprise service bus pattern where Salesforce integrations flow through SAP Integration Suite components before reaching target systems. This centralized integration approach supports:

  • Standardized data transformation: All Salesforce data flows through consistent processing

  • Error handling and monitoring: Centralized oversight of complex business processes

  • Integration strategy: Coordinated approach to multi-system business workflows

Using Integration Insights

The visualization enables comprehensive end-to-end integration analysis to identify multi-step processes that require multiple processing stages, hub and spoke patterns where systems participate in multiple end-to-end flows, and integration complexity assessment showing the number and types of components in complete flows.

Processing Pipeline Analysis: Visual analysis enables:

  • End-to-end dependency mapping: Understanding complete integration process dependencies

  • Integration orchestration assessment: Identifying how complex processes are coordinated

  • Architecture optimization opportunities: Spotting potential simplification in multi-step processes

Business Process Integration: The visualization shows end-to-end integrations that represent complete business processes, providing:

  • Complete integration journeys: Full data processing workflows from start to finish

  • Multi-component processes: Integration flows that span multiple systems and processing steps

  • Visual representation: How technical integration supports business workflows

Data Source: The end-to-end flow visualization is based on end-to-end integrations configured in your system and interfaces assigned through transformation rules processing. Flows shown reflect the complete integration processes defined in your landscape, providing standardized system identifiers, complete process workflows, and visual representation of enterprise integration architecture.
