To-do (Configuration)

The To-do configuration defines criteria that determine which interfaces appear in the To-do workflow for enrichment processing, helping identify interfaces requiring additional metadata such as systems, objects, properties and tags.

Purpose: Configure interface enrichment criteria and requirements that control when interfaces appear in To-do workflows, ensuring systematic metadata completion and integration governance across your landscape.

Navigate to SettingsConfigurationTo-do to access the To-do criteria configuration tabs.

For detailed guidance on To-do configuration, see 2.4 To-do in the Onboarding Guide.

Configuration Overview

To-do configuration interface showing General, Properties, and Tags tabs with the General tab displaying dropdown options for Mode, Objects, Properties and Tags criteria

What you see:

  • Configuration tabs for different enrichment criteria (General, Properties, Tags)

  • Criteria dropdowns for Mode, Objects, Properties and Tags requirements

  • Value options for each criterion (at least one, configured, inactive)

  • Scope selection for interface types included in To-do processing

General Configuration

Mode

image-20250901-080919.png

Mode dropdown showing options including "Interfaces & End-to-End", "Inactive", "Interfaces (no End-to-End)" and "End-to-End (no Interfaces)"

  • Interfaces & End-to-End (recommended) - Include both interface and end-to-end integration enrichment

  • Interfaces (no End-to-End) - Focus only on individual interface enrichment

  • End-to-End (no Interfaces) - Process only end-to-end integration flows

  • Inactive - Disable To-do workflow processing

Objects

image-20250901-080956.png

Objects dropdown showing options "inactive" and "at least one"

  • at least one - Requires at least one item to be assigned

  • configured - Requires specific items enabled in Properties/Tags tabs

  • inactive - Disables requirement for this metadata type

Properties

image-20250901-081012.png

Properties dropdown showing selectable options

  • at least one - Requires at least one item to be assigned

  • configured - Requires specific items enabled in Properties/Tags tabs

  • inactive - Disables requirement for this metadata type

Tags

Tags dropdown showing selectable options

  • at least one - Requires at least one item to be assigned

  • configured - Requires specific items enabled in Properties/Tags tabs

  • inactive - Disables requirement for this metadata type

Properties Configuration

Properties Tab

image-20250901-081132.png

Enable specific properties for To-do enrichment by checking boxes for properties that should be required during interface processing.

Prerequisites: Only properties configured in 2.1.1 Properties are available for selection.

Tags Configuration

Tags Tab

Enable specific tags for To-do enrichment by checking boxes for tag categories that should be required during interface processing.

image-20250901-081143.png

Tags tab showing available tag categories (Build Status, City, Country, Criticality, Domain, Region, etc.) with Enable checkboxes for each category

Prerequisites: Only tags configured in 2.1.2 Tags are available for selection.

Configuration Impact

To-do configuration directly controls:

  • Interface Workflow - Which interfaces appear in Inventory → To-do for enrichment processing

  • Enrichment Requirements - Which metadata fields must be completed before interfaces are considered "complete"

  • Data Quality - Systematic enforcement of metadata standards across your integration landscape

  • Governance Compliance - Consistent application of enrichment criteria for integration oversight

Quick Tip

Start with "Interfaces & End-to-End" mode and "at least one" requirements for Objects and Properties. Enable specific Properties and Tags tabs only for metadata that's critical to your integration governance. Use "configured" requirements when you need strict compliance with specific metadata standards.
